PHILOSOPHY

“Good Instruction Produces Great Leaders.”

Open Court Sports Complex’s goal is to provide a setting for exceptional recreational, individual and team play. Our platform enables the building of character, focus, confidence, integrity, passion, positivity and responsibility. We believe the refinement and encouragement of these attributes, is what helps to make a great leader.
OUR FACILITIES
Open Court Sports Complex (OCSC) is the premier indoor sports venue in Katy, Texas. We serve the local community by offering year-round, climate-controlled facilities for basketball, volleyball, and other floor sports. Our 40,000-square-foot facility is the first in the Katy area to provide an elite sports platform for ‘open court’ basketball games as well as leagues, tournaments, exhibitions, clinics, parties, and more for athletes of all ages.

Open Court Sports Complex consists of four NCAA-regulation basketball courts, with two courts including volleyball lines. Our gymnasium also includes a tutoring lounge, medical relief room, conditioning room, lockers, showers, and a café, providing everything athletes need to develop their game skills, physical fitness, and developmental education.
OUR LEADERSHIP
Under our founders’ direction, Open Court Sports Complex is dedicated to serving as a source of mentorship and personal growth in our community, developing professional skills and leadership in young people. Sports are our passion, and we believe they are an ideal vehicle for turning boys and girls into smart, accountable, hard-working young men and women—team players who will become the future leaders of our city, state, and nation.

OCSC’s leadership remains very active in the Katy community, particularly as advocates for disabled veterans and mental wellness. Both volunteer with the Wounded Warrior Project and adaptive sports leagues for disabled athletes. Open Court’s signature colors are a tribute to disabled veterans: Teal is the color of PTSD awareness, and yellow represents sunshine, which aids in treating clinical depression.
